Apply pressure to the screw by holding the handle of the screwdriver and
pressing down firmly on the screw.

Tips & Warnings
A standard, flat-head screwdriver is used on screws with a single,
straight-line slot on the screw head.
A Phillips head screwdriver is used on screws with cross-slotted screw
heads.
If your project requires you to screw into something without a pre-drilled
hole, you may need to use a drill to create a hole. If you can proceed without a
hole, simply push firmly on the screw with your screwdriver to mark your place
before beginning to screw.
