Jun glaze, first fired in Jun kiln at the Song dynasty, is an outstanding representative of furnace transmutation glaze. The characteristic is that it glitters red or purple speckle in the whole sky blue. It is analyzed that it suspends numerous small round particles among the successive glass phase medium. The cover coat can takes on beautiful blue opalescent because these small particles can scatter short wave light. Additionally, it also takes on magenta because the colour generation action of the reduction copper in the glaze. It sets off with sky blue each other just like a rosy cloud. The poet praised its movement and beautiful colors with "the purple setting sun become to blue suddenly." In addition, the glaze juice of the Jun glaze is thick, the glaze bubble is big, there are curves just like "earth worm mark" in the glaze and the cracks of the cover coat are different in size. It is measured that the Jun glaze is fired by reducing atmosphere at  1260°C--1270°C.
