Chongqing Astronautic Bashan Motorcycle Manufacturing CO.Ltd is located in Huaxi Industrial Park, Banan District, Chongqing City, and was listed as one of the earliest national industrial manufacturers of Motorcycles, engines and spare parts.
The Company has grown rapidly in the past decade to become one of the most large-scale motorcycle manufacturers in China. Devoted to research, production and sales of two-wheelers, tricycles, ATVs, engines, E-bikes, General machineries and farming machines, now the company has more than 2,300 employees in total.
The company has established the manufacturing bases in Chongqing, Guangdong and Jiangsu, to form a complete set of network for production and sales across the country.

In Chonqing, Bashan Industrial park occupies a land of 230,000 square meters, with a workshop floor of 65,000 square meters, auxiliary production facility area of 15,000 square meters, and with over 10 modernized production lines, packing lines and a whole set of complete testing and inspection equipment.
Chongqing two-wheeler factory produces such motorcycles as Cubs, off-road bikes, cruisers, racing bikes and liberty-style motorcycles. With 4 advanced unit assembly lines and 2 parts assembly lines, the factory produces different products in different lines. And different products are managed with technical details as per different models, to classify domestic or foreign markets, and to differentiate the customer’s orders and requirements. Accordingly, product consistency and lead time are all in good control. Thus, the capacity reaches 600,000 units or sets of motorcycles.
Chongqing Bashan Engine factory focuses on the development and production of motorcycle engines. With 3 synchronous assembly lines, the Factory can reach the annual output of more than one million units or sets of engines. The engines, either vertical or horizontal, are classified into more than 30 categories, ranging from 50cc to 500cc, with air-cooled, water-cooled or oil cooled systems, to meet and satisfy various clients’ needs.
Chongqing Bashan tricycle factory specializes in the development and manufacturing of tricycles and their key parts, such as carriages and frames. The models include tricycles for open-up cargo or passenger, cabinet cargo or passenger, Electric, tip, steering wheel, touring, reverse, cleaning vehicle, which form a complete set of well-accepted vehicle types. The annual capacity reaches 100,000 units or sets of tricycles.
Chongqing Bashan ATV factory is one of the earliest All-Terrain Vehicle manufacturers in China. Its high performance and reliable quality could be found in its top sales among the leading Chinese ATV producers. The products include sports mini-ATVs for kids, utility or sports ATVs for adults, which displacement are from 50cc to 500cc. Air-cooled or water-cooled engine, CVT engine, differential rear wheel transmission, 4 wheels driving, independent suspensions are applied to meet various needs in different environments. The annual capacity reaches 200,000 units or sets of ATVs.
Chongqing Bashan General Machinery Factory specializes in the development and manufacturing of tillers, generators, water pumps, etc. With improved utility and reliability, the products passed national and international certifications. Besides, various optional configurations are available to better serve the markets and satisfy the customers. The annual output reaches 300,000 sets.
In Zhengcheng city, Guangdong Province, the company built a modernized motorcycle industrial park, which area is over one million square meters. The products include liberty-style motorcycles, cruisers, scooters and dirt bikes, which cover more than 20 different models in different displacements. The annual capacity is 500,000 units or sets of motorcycles.
In Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, Wuxi Bashan Vehicle Co is a professional R&D and production base, which involves in electric motorcycles, electric bicycles and electric touring bikes. Now the company has developed over 50 models of e-bikes, among which those light weight bikes are well accepted in Europe and America.
Since then, the Company takes the guideline of “Better management creates higher quality, while brand strategy opens the markets”. persisting on scientific and precision management to be integrated into the international markets. Most of the exporting products have been qualified by American DOT, European EEC, National Emission III certification, EN15194, China Compulsory Certification, and IS09001:2000 quality system;
The company invested in and developed over 30 new models, 200 items of technical improvements annually, and has gained more than 100 technical patents. In the technical center of the company, with advanced equipments and facilities, a complete set of test or analysis methods are applied, covering performance test, material experiment, processing appraisal, environment test, life test, ergonomic experiment, mechanic analysis, physical and chemical analysis, to meet the need for product development, improvement and manufacturing processes. A testing field of 37,500 square meters was established and is used for performance test of various products.
With a talented and experienced R&D personnel, the R&D department always works precisely on creative design, model design, data collection, mechanic analysis, and sample producing making to develop new and higher standard products to satisfy the markets and meet the requirements of the customers.
Enterprise Management & Capability to meet the markets’ demandSince implementation of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) in sales, manufacturing, material supply, Parts acquisition, cost control, financial systems, the Company has been able to quickly confirm the requirements of a customer for a specific product and to work out a bill of materials and their costs, which leads to a parts purchasing plan, production and transportation plan. Those plans would be kept in record permanently, in order to enable a customer to provide a long-term market service.
